Beach life |
Take your pick of the beautiful beaches in the area. The closest one is the beach at
Castell de Ferro, ca 5 km fra Gualchoshus.
about 5 km from the Gualchos House. It’s 1,300 m long and flat, with coffee bars and restaurants along the prom. There’s a life-saving station during the high season.
The beaches at Calahonda ,200 m long), about 13 km from Gualchos, and
Torrenueva (2,300 m long), about 20 km from Gualchos, are also flat. They too are both so-called urban beaches.
By contrast, La Rijana (250 m long), about 10 km from the Gualchos House, is a real divers’ beach with many reefs and fish. There is ample opportunity to experience underwater life here, with either snorkelling or diving gear.
